| DIGITAL REFLECTOMETER • A portable meter for measuring reflectance of textiles and flat materials or surfaces • It is hand held and self contained with integral rechargeable batteries • The clear digital read out incorporates a battery low indicator and the charger is included in the kit • A certified white reference tile is provided for routine user recalibration • The whole system is supplied in a padded 'attache style' carrying case • The optical geometry produces results comparable to the null type (moving coil meter) reflectometers used by the laundry industry without the temperature instability problems of some of the older designs.
Applications
• Precise measurement of reflectance of white textiles for quality control purposes • Designed for use in monitoring reflectance to NHS contract standards • Used in the drycleaning and laundry industry to indicate the different levels of greying produced under various process conditions • Used to measure soil removal levels from EMPA soiled test fabrics • Used in conjunction with the Equiptex OBA Meter, it is possible to differentiate between loss of brightness and redeposition of particulate soil during cleansing and to quantify these changes.
